There is not a day goes by that I don’t miss these three being a family.

Ryuk’s original concept art. Takeshi Obata wanted to design Ryuk as an “attractive rock star”, but scrapped the idea at the thought that Ryuk shouldn’t be more attractive than the main character, Light. In How to Read 13,  Obata states that Ryuk’s current grotesque face could be a mask to hide his “real” face, and therefore Ryuk may still technically look like this in canon.

Jason, I’m seriously beginning to like you. It’s funny that only this afternoon it occurred to me that Sane Jason might also have been a great older brother for Damian (or is it might be?). And Alfred, words cannot describe what a fabulous person you are.

Judging from the preview, Justice League #19 might actually be worth looking into. I usually don’t follow the series, but now I want to know who the mysterious intruder into the Batcave is (thanks to beaschalantasyoulike for the tip).

In other news, the preview of Red Hood and the Outlaws #19, indicates that the events of this issue take place after Batman and Robin #20 (Batman and Red Hood), which is a little annoying since we have to wait another three weeks to find out how Bruce ended up in Ethiopia.

The Justice League preview is absolutely killing me. ;_;
